Your collective Agreement expires August 31, 2012 and our bargaining team which was created democratically last October has been working behind the scenes on your behalf to fight for your most imortant issues beginning June 4. They will be focusing on the common demands identified by all the colleges’ delegates at the Demand Setting Meeting in March.
If the college begins by suggesting take-aways or concessions from important areas such as salary, benefits, pensions, sick time etc., the bargaining team will ask for your support to let the employer know that we consider that to be bargaining in bad faith. The membership collectively will not tolerate suggestions of this nature.
