Local 240 (Academic) hosted a lunchtime barbecue for our members as well as the members of Local 241(Support Staff). We had a great turnout with well over 170 members in attendance. Everybody enjoyed a great lunch and received updates on bargaining and other key issues. We also acknowleged
the retirement of two long standing members of Local 240–Ann Bennett (vice president) and Greg Cormier (treasurer) of our Local. We wish everybody a great summer!
